- The car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 765 horsepower @ 7,500 Rpm and 590 lb-ft of torque at 800 Nm. This makes it the most powerful McLaren ever made.
- The 765LT is also the lightest car in its class, weighing 2,709 lbs. It has a top speed of 205 mph and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
- It is also equipped with a 32-valve, DOHC, VVT mid-engine. This helps the vehicle achieve its high-performance specs.

The engine produces a power output of 765 horsepower @ 7,500 Rpm and 800 Nm of torque. It comes with twin electrically-actuated twin-scroll turbochargers. The McLaren 765LT Spider has a top speed of 205 mph per 330 km/h with the optional “Spider” exhaust system. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 secs with the help of its twin-turbocharged engine.
